Fulijaya's long road to success can be traced back to 1982, when the company began its operations as a contract manufacturer of private label toothbrushes, toiletries and plastic ware. With an aim to strengthen its marketing network, another company Syarikat Fulijaya Industries Sdn Bhd (later known as Fulijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd), was established on 5 November, 1982 to manage the wholesale and retail sales of its products.

Throughout the years, as the company experienced rapid growth in business, Fulijaya Manufacturing Sdn Bhd was  formed on 1st November, 1991 to run its manufacturing operations.

Subsequently, as a result of its constant pursuit of innovative technology and  product diversification, in 1993 Fulijaya diversified its business operations into vacuum forming and the manufacture of PVC trays, plastic injection moulded household/ industrial products and packing materials.
  
Being a company with a direct involvement and deep understanding of the innovative changes in the toothbrush market, Fulijaya took a bold step to manufacture its own line of toothbrushes under the brand name Pro Dental B. Hence, on 10 July, 1995 Pro Dental B Sdn Bhd was rightly set up to market its Pro Dental B toothbrushes.
  
To date, Fulijaya group of Companies - Fulijaya Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Fulijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd and Pro Dental B Sdn Bhd - is Malaysia's largest manufacturer of quality oral hygiene, toiletries, household/ industrial products and packing materials.

Not one to be complacent, Fulijaya recently initiated an extensive Research & Development programme... the aim of which is to improve on the existing standards and attain global recognition in the field of oral hygiene. To serve Fulijaya's growing network of customers beyond its home soil, two other manufacturing facilities, P.T. Fulijaya Toothbrush Indonesia and P.T.Malindo Cemerlang Pratama were established in Indonesia on September 1997. Currently, its marketing arm, Fulijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd has successfully penetrated overseas markets including Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, UK, USA, New Zealand and Australia. As a result of Fulijaya's constant adherence to stringent quality standards, the company was awarded in year 1998, the Prestigious ISO 9002 certification by SGS Yarsley, International Certification Services Limited and had upgraded to MS ISO 9001 : 2000 in July, 2002.
  
Fulijaya also manufactures its products for private medical centres as Lam Wah Ee Hospital, Bagan Specialist Centre, Ipoh Specialist Centre, Hospital Pantai Mutiara, Ampang Putri, Pusat Pakar Tawakal, etc.
